OUTSTANDING SLOW LANDMARKS OF THE DELTA AREA

The Po Delta Park is a single large territory with priceless natural beauty, landscapes and history landmarks, extending over two administrative regions (Emilia-Romagna and Veneto) and 3 Provinces (Ravenna, Ferrara and Rovigo). Its area, characterised by water and different natural environments, live numerous species of birds, making it particularly suitable for “slow” tourism. This vast territory holds traces of its ancient past, such as the city of Ravenna with its mosaics, Renaissance Ferrara, Rovigo and his Polesine. Number routes can be explored on foot, by bicycle or on small boats, e.g. the route from Pineta di Classe to Cervia’s salt flats, the Po Cycling Path, the route to Sacca di Goro and Scardovari, or the route along the Adigetto Canal.
