Venezia and Treviso slow

VENETO’S SLOW AREA: FROM THE VENICE LAGOON TO THE PROVINCE OF TREVISO

Characterised by its ground-water combination the territory of the Province of Venice is a precious cultural and natural heritage, where visitors can visit the sandy beaches, lagoons, coastal pine forests, small towns, as well as Venice, a city that does not need any further presentations, and much more. “Slow” routes leading from the coast to the inland include nature reserves such as Valle Vecchia and small historical towns such as Portogruaro and Concordia Sagittaria. Going north, the “slow” territory continues towards Marca and Alta Marca Trevigiana, where tourist may find several “slow” excellences such as the Sile Natural Park, Treviso and Portobuffolè, one of the most beautiful small towns in Italy. In Alta Marca Trevigiana, between Valdobbiadene and Vittorio Veneto, there is a succession of vineyards, medieval castles and towers: ideal destinations for tourists, who love culture and food and wine in particular.
