FRIULIAN SLOW TERRITORY

There are many excellent slow area in the Friuli Region: ancient Cividale, listed on Unesco World Heritage list, the Oasis of the Lagoon of Marano, characterised by its high environmental and natural value. From Marano one can follow the river Natissa, pass by the ancient Aquileia get to the Lagoon of Grado, today best known as a seaside resort and characterised by its precious historic centre. The eclectic city of Trieste and its Karst, including Water Forest path, are interesting venues for tourist in search of “slow” excitement.
